Our services and customer agreements
Aesik LLC provides custom software development, software maintenance and support, consulting, integration, related technical services, and software licensing where we own or are authorized to license the applicable software. We primarily work with business customers. Specific engagements may also be governed by proposals, statements of work, order forms, license agreements, nondisclosure agreements, or other written agreements. If those conflict with these general website terms, the applicable written customer agreement controls.
Scope, delivery, and pricing
Services, rates, deliverables, delivery arrangements, and payment schedules vary by engagement and are agreed directly with the customer. Software and services are delivered electronically or through the implementation, support, or other arrangements specified in the applicable agreement. Custom engagements do not have standard published prices.
Invoices and payment
Invoices are payable according to the payment terms stated on the invoice or applicable agreement. Any advance or partial payments and their schedules are set out in that invoice or agreement. All monetary amounts are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Customers are responsible for applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Invoices may be paid electronically through a secure invoice/payment provider.
Intellectual property
Intellectual-property ownership and license rights are governed by the applicable customer or license agreement. Payment of an invoice does not by itself transfer intellectual-property ownership. Customers must use licensed software within the permissions granted by the applicable license.
Billing questions and disputes
Please contact christian@aesik.com promptly regarding a billing error or dispute. Include the invoice number, the amount in question, and a description of the issue so we can review the records and work with you toward a resolution. Refunds and cancellations are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and are subject to the applicable customer agreement.
Acceptable use
Use this website and our services lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site security or availability, introduce malicious software, or infringe another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.
Responsibility and liability
Responsibility for project deliverables, service performance, and any limits on liability are governed by the applicable customer agreement and law. To the extent permitted by law, Aesik LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of this informational website. These website terms do not limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these website terms by publishing a revised version with an updated effective date. Changes do not replace an existing written customer agreement. Maryland law governs these website terms, except where a separate customer agreement provides otherwise.
